For retiring law enforcement officers, transitioning out of the profession can be challenging and, let's face it, scary. The goal of NextWatch's Law Enforcement Fellowships & Transition Program (LEFT) is to provide retiring and transitioning police officers with structured, paid fellowships in the private sector, in fields such as corporate security, risk management, intelligence, investigations, and other professional areas. NextWatch will partner with employers to ensure a seamless transition from law enforcement to other careers. NextWatch LEFT will provide training, resume building, opportunities for networking and mentorship, and access to a nationwide network of successful law enforcement leaders and alumni. 

In addition, our Health, Engagement, Resilience, and Outreach (HERO) Program can assist with the transition from law enforcement to the rest of your life by addressing the mental, social, and physical well-being of retiring and retired law enforcement officers. It ensures a holistic transition into post-LEO life, focusing on wellness, relationships, and purpose.
